The purpose of the Parent and Family Engagement Conference is to provide parents and families, strategies, best practices, and training for building pathways to responsive parenting that will create stronger families in our communities and greater engagement in our schools. The purpose and trajectory of the conference underscores decades of research addressing the importance of parent engagement and partnership with their child’s school and the impact on academic achievement.

This year we are adding several new layers to the conference platform. We are extending the conference across two days and hosting a Documentary screening of the film Resilience and discussion on Friday night, and the conference workshops, exhibit hall and panel discussion on Saturday.
