Parent Guidelines:

  •         We expect you to encourage your child in all matters that relate to their attitude   and performance on and off the track field.

  •         We expect you to encourage your child to finish the entire program.

  •         We encourage you to devote your time and energy in making this a positive experience for your child.

  •         We expect you to communicate with the appropriate staff regarding conflict matters.

  •         We expect you to do your part in making sure that you are informed about deadlines, track meets, travel expenses, and proper attire.

  •         We expect you to make sure that your child has transportation to and from program sites.

ATTENDANCE - There is a total of five months in the track season. We expect your child to participate in the entire season without break, however, we do understand there will be situations when your child will not be able to attend practice due to employment, emergencies, vacations, and/or other youth sports.

APPROPRIATE DRESS  - Your child should wear proper running shoes, shorts, and shirts. Boys are not permitted to wear pierced earrings or any such jewelry attached to their face during practice, club events, or track meets, etc.

TRANSPORTATION - You will be responsible for your child's own transportation to and from all practice sessions, fund-raiser events and local track meets. We encourage parents to accompany youth to practices and fund-raiser events.  Parents are not allowed to ride on the bus with the team and coaches.

SPIRITUAL INTERVENTION - This aspect of our program is a vital part of how we influence your child through sports. At least once a week or bi-weekly, youth will engage in a biblical message. These meetings will take place either at the start or finish of practice. Community leaders, coaches, and club parents will have the opportunity to share a personal testimony of how they came to know the Lord.

FUNDRAISER'S - Before and during the course of the season, we will have several fund-raising activities and events.  The purpose of these events are to assist with the cost of fees,  food, lodging and transportation for out of town travel.

CONDUCT AND ATTITUDE - A major part of your child's success is contingent upon their conduct and attitude while they are in the program.  It is extremely important that youth have the appropriate conduct and attitude towards his/her teammates, coaches, and parents.
